This dish is the acquired taste of the Ethiopian breakfast. It’s a porridge, more or less, but one unlike anything you’ll find in America.

Bula an indigenous plant, is made into a flour blend and prepared as a porridge, Genfo or a hot thick drinkable meal with milk and honey. It is also baked as a flat bread, Kotcho, and often served with Kitfo.
